And if you don’t want your member to vote for a $600 deal, you really need to tell them that. Don’t think “oh I voted for a Dem, we’ll be fine.” No. If there’s an amount that’s too little, or any other red line that you want them to vote NO on, then you need to tell them that.

My step son in in food service in NYC, and has been out of work since April. His unemployment benefits expire in ten days. People in this situation need an extension, as long as indoor dining is prohibited and outdoor dining is impractical.

Call your Representative and tell them $600 isn't enough, and to withhold their vote for Pelosi for Speaker unless and until she brings Medicare For All to the floor for a recorded vote! I appreciate you . You got this, and we got your back when you do!

$600?! the Australian government guaranteed & gave Aussies $1500 AUD ($1140 USD) a fortnight for 6 months. It has been extended until March 2020. People were able to financially survive lock down to get Covid under control, it worked & they still had jobs to go to after.

Other countries are giving out monthly allowances until the Pandemic is under control. We’re the richest country in the world and yet we were given just $1,200, and then ignored for 9 months. Now we’re expected to just be okay with a second payment that’s half... pathetic.
