I am SO PROUD of our families, students, & volunteers stepping up to support our Homework Helpers program.🌟 Normally, 1-on-1 tutoring is a luxury mostly reserved for the privileged. But community volunteers are changing that, helping so many families along the way. Thank you!

This is something I've volunteered for at the local library wherever I've lived, until I came to NYC and there wasn't really anything I could fit into my schedule. Sounds like this will now be even more robust and far-reaching than the programs I've seen in other cities.

Regardless of how genuine your intentions are, this is an excellent program. I disagree with most of your policy choices but it's very smart to get behind this.
