FYI, Republicans aren’t “free market capitalists” either. They just believe in spending billions in public resources to boost their friends, prizes to big corps over mom + pops, & taking a cut for themselves instead of investing in public services like healthcare and education.

Mandating solar shifts jobs to China where the panels are made, and massively drives up the cost of energy for the poor - CA’s energy cost are up 6x more than the US avg. ‘11-‘19. If Dems “follow the science”, they’d be pursuing nuclear energy for zero emission goals.

All these... - free markets - states' rights - individual liberties - fiscal deficits - religious freedoms ... are simply tools for conservatives to push their end goal. The goal is absolute freedom for themselves and the rich, and a lot of control over the rest of us.
