I’ve been a feminist working with mainstream media for 35 years and this is the FIRST example of the leadership of women of color (who are not in entertainment) has been showcased comparably to the leadership of white men and women, in a mass market mainstream publication.

2/I believe privileged white people don't understand to what extent, in the worlds we inhabit, racism doesn't manifest as slurs or violence. It manifests as omission, and omission of omission. Which is not a peaceful or nonviolent thing.
