Well you in Congress failed the illegals. You were told multiple times there was an emergency at the border. Not enough resources. Overwhelmed with the number of illegals. Your answer was it was made up and you voted “no” for any funding. YOU did this!

Well, here's the funny thing. They wouldn't be 'overwhelmed' with detaining everyone if they weren't detaining everyone. Seriously, I know the 'catch and release' boogeyman is strong, but it works at a 95%+ rate for people showing back up. And the money saved (/1)

could easily be used to bolster immigration lawyers and judges at the border to handle the workload without the massive backlog. But then again, the cruelty is the point, isnt it?(/Fin)

Exactly

You also know it’s the point when people try to donate supplies and they are refused by CBP.
-
People keep saying the inmates are free to go. Are they also free to accept deliveries? E.g. If I ordered a basket of groceries online could I direct it to Juan Domingo c/o Clint detention centre ? I’d like to see that DHL truck roll up ....

You know where there is tons of shampoo and soap? Home.
-
Was all of your ancestors born on this land? Or did they come from somewhere else? Just asking for the natives
-
I do not recall anyone providing them with beds and meals and soap or anything. And they came legally.
-
They came legally.....so they showed up and then what? The entitlement you show.
-
Entitlement is coming to someone else's nation and expecting to be provided for.
-
If this is “your” nation you should know what we inscribed in the Statue of Liberty. You should know that asylum is completely legal. You should know that this is the country of inmigrants.
-
You should know that the Statue of Liberty has a poem, not immigration policy.
-
What about the constitutional right to asylum? Is that a poem too? How dare you call yourself a Christian. “As you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

If you think removal of people committing unlawful entry is wrong, I would like to send some people to stay in your house for a while. Have fun!
-
Hey Brian, seeking asylum is perfectly legal!
-
They passed through stable and safe countries to get to the US. If asylum was truly their goal they’d have stopped before they got here
-
Asylum has to asked by signatories to UN agreement
-
It’s probably no use arguing with people who’ve fallen prey to step 6.
