This administration has established concentration camps on the southern border of the United States for immigrants, where they are being brutalized with dehumanizing conditions and dying.

And for the shrieking Republicans who don’t know the difference: concentration camps are not the same as death camps. Concentration camps are considered by experts as “the mass detention of civilians without trial.” And that’s exactly what this administration is doing.
Tell that to my grandfather who lost his entire family at just a "concentration camp"
If we are speaking about WWII, the Nazi death camps were specifically for extermination. Yes many died in concentration camps as well, but that wasn’t their specific purpose.
I mean, this is really a semantics argument that I don’t think you and I need to get into, but to the people who lived through it, they don’t see that semantic difference
And I say that based on my own family experiences - I had a great uncle who helped to liberate a few of those camps during WWII and I heard from him what he experienced in that alone.
It's so funny to see these "concentration camps" where people go to with their own volition. No one is forcing them to come to the USA, and yet they are coming, and they themselves decided to come into these baaaaad "concentration camps"

Can I point out that in concentration camps people don’t voluntarily travel hundreds or thousands of miles to get in? No. I shouldn’t point that out.
