100% agree. If OTC, people like me - if I didn’t know about my genetic mutation that makes me more likely to get blood clot — birth control could have killed me. Need medical care to be affordable + accessible + safe.

I don't think it should be over the counter because some hormones may have adverse effects for some patients, so women should still talk to their gynecologists. However, birth control should be free and covered by insurance

True but you can OD on tylenol and that’s over the counter. Same with alcohol. Talking to a gynaecologist seems like a good move regardless.
