1st of all, 15% interest is already a TON.
Most credit unions are subject to usury law; they’re quite sound. in fact, they’re the few who DIDN’T need a bailout in ‘08.

I haven't see a 15% rate, ever. Anytime I looked at getting a credit card, it was 25-29%.

I work at a credit union and the highest interest rate we offer is 18%
