PS I am extraordinarily proud of the role my constituents have played in helping to establish + support Troop 6000, the first-ever @girlscouts troop for girls experiencing homelessness:https://www.npr.org/2017/07/26/538551816/a-nyc-scout-troop-provides-homeless-girls-a-place-of-their-own …

No link, no info, no context. Wow, you sure showed that random screenshot who’s boss.....

That’s actually interesting. So 72% of congresswomen are former Girl Scouts, and only one turned out be Republican? What are they teaching in there? Now I know why AOC didn’t include it....
-
Damn you think they were teaching them to care about someone other then themselves
-
Care about who? The Democratic Party doesn’t care about unborn children, the surviving infants of abortion, any of us “deplorables” and puts the votes they get from illegal aliens over the safety of American citizens. So get the f____ out of here with your fake empathy already.

What a deflection after being shown the link you asked for. Lol
-
I know, that was almost impressive!

I know I’m in the minority on this, but boxed cookies taste gross. Never gotten the hype over girl scout cookies.

Thin mints in the freezer. Only way to go.
-
I always try to save a box in the freezer until July, then crush them to make a pie crust for a frozen chocolate cream pie. Some years, I even succeed at actually saving them.
-
Thin mints broken up and mixed into chocolate ice cream is awesome.

We get that in Seattle year round.http://www.mollymoon.com/blog/vegan-scout-mint …

Navy vet, served 5 years and deployed twice. Every unrep/vertrep while deployed the ship I was on always received Girl Scout cookies, which greatly boosted the moral of the crew. For what they do to support our troops, I could never boycott them.
-
That's very cool. I didn't know this was a thing but saw your tweet and just donated to the program to send cookies overseas. Thanks!
-
You're welcome. Before I served I didn't either. Was on the USS Gettysburg (CG-64). Was in the Navy from 19Jun07-18Jun12. I honestly couldn't tell how much it meant to us and how much it helped our morale
