NYC already has more jobs than it knows what to do with, and most of the planned 25k hires would likely have been out-of-staters moving in. This deal would have driven up housing prices more than wages, in what's already an outrageously expensive city. It was a bad investment.

It was a terrible call on your part. This decision deprived NYC of billions in the additional revenues the city could use for education and transit. Terrible!

The city was about to give a gift of 3 billion dollars to one of the richest men in the world. Now the city can spend that money into education and transit instead. 😁
