The fact is that doom and gloom predictions for climate change are constantly changing and don’t materialize. It is much more likely that we don’t understand the science well enough to make such dire predictions.

China has better plans (huge investment in alternates) for Climate Change. Too bad though we killed the Trans Pacific Partnership...that would have given us huge leverage in any agreements with China, such as adding environmental standards to trade deals.

I think many older Americans just don't care because they won't have as long to live through the terrifying consequences of climate change.

Some of us older Americans do care, even if we don't have grandchildren. I've been voting for environmental protection and for climate change interventions since I could vote. Also participated in the first Earth Day April 22, 1970.
