You don’t have to earn $10M to support the firefighters and teachers, there are charities needing you today. Why not take your salary as it is and donate 70%. As for the bridges, nothing stops you from sending in extra money on April 15. All mouth no action, yup, you’re a Dem.

I’d be fine over $1M a year if we’re being honest. More than enough to enjoy life, definitely not enough to buy politicians and subvert democracy. How it should be.

Wow Alexandra ,, I do not see what $10 million has to do with it as you would have to pay $7 million in taxes ,, which would leave you with just $2 million ,, I do not think they give that much to a congress person until they are much older !!

That’s the problem with so many Americans. They somehow seem to believe that in spite of their obvious limitations one day they will be in that 1%. They don’t want to think of having to pay a tax they will never be asked to and so become simple sheep protecting wolves.

You're exactly correct. This is the myth Republicans have sold the US middle class. That if they just keep taxes low, work hard, they too will one day benefit from those same tax rates and loopholes. A bunch of BS. Upper mobility is harder in US than many other countries now.
