If your 2020 platform doesn’t include a Green New Deal, are you really running for President?

So I read the New Green Deal and the whole think reads like a how to guide to step from capitalism to socialism with a hop and a skip to communism. You are proposing giving the government power over our education system as a whole with plans to control what is to be taught.
-
Oh hell yeah dude, I freaking love when people scream Communism when they have no idea what it actually is beyond basic capitalist propaganda.
-
Socialism IS a stepping stone to communism. Socialistic policies require government control. When the government has complete control we step into communism. When the country fails because of socialism the government has to dictate who provides what and where the food goes.

The
#GreenNewDeal "is going to be the Great Society, the#MoonShot, the Civil Rights Movement of our generation" - Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez@AOC. This reflects the bold vision and ambitious goals that we need, consistent with@MazzucatoM’s views.https://insideclimatenews.org/news/03012019/green-new-deal-climate-solutions-jobs-2018-year-review-ocasio-cortez-castor-sunrise-movement-congress …Thanks. "I wish I'd recycled more! And paid more tax!" Said no one ever on their death bed.

Maybe if they were dying in a building whose lower sixty feet were submerged by water.

This is what's needed for those that want carbon taxes. Read the FAQ in the document. Time for the rope, the smoking rifle and tar and feathers. One word: France.

Despite what your legislation says, government programs have never worked better or faster than incentivising the private sector. They also wind up being substantially more expensive than previously proposed.

And there it is.

What kind of statutory language is this? It’s campaign rhetoric made to look like a bill. Are you kidding me?pic.twitter.com/Keft9q8HW2
-
It's fine to have ideology in the preamble to a bill, but when it substitutes for the fine details of WHAT gets done, HOW it gets done, by WHOM it gets done, and who PAYS for it, you have...a paperback book, not legislation.

That all we need is weaponized socialists running around. We undid the weaponization of government branches when Obama left and won’t allow it again.

What about the pillar of opposing militarism and slashing the military budget to pay for the
