There are many little ways in which our electoral system isn’t even designed (nor prepared) for working-class people to lead. This is one of them (don’t worry btw - we’re working it out!) ⬇️

Umm it even says she saved money and planned accordingly with her husband. Moving is tedious expensive and annoying she could just stay in NY and Amtrak to dc everyday

Well it’s clear some folks don’t understand “working class” anymore than they understand the word “socialism”. Working class = selling labor and not owning the means of production. Being unemployed and in between jobs for 3 months doesn’t change that classification, doo doo head.

What’s wrong with that? People deserve the right to healthcare. We can make that happen. I would happily pay more in taxes so someone else can go to a doctor, buy food or go to college. Some people are altruistic. Not everyone understands.

Working class people can afford their rent or mortgage. Only inexperienced, entitled, whining socialists, who are unwilling to input as much energy into the system as they wish to extract cannot pay rent.
