On the regular freelancer side of things, I have signed neither a new contract nor an NDA.
(And like Lynzee, I never sign NDAs for coverage opportunities if they demand control over my content. Though, I have signed ones that are basically just embargos on when I can post.)

The issue with stuff like this is, despite their claims, reader have no real way of knowing if the reporting *is* actually independent or not.
