7. As well as triggering #Article50, we have also given notice to leave #Euratom. #Euratom is legally separate from the #EU.

8. #Euratom regulates the nuclear energy market and the movement of nuclear materials across Europe.

9. Withdrawing from #Euratom raises considerable problems for our nuclear power stations (which produce c.20% of the UK's energy needs)

10. Energy prices & basic power supplies are exposed to considerable risk if the #Euratom deal is not replaced within the next 18 months.

11. That is bad enough. But #Euratom also governs the movement and exchange of #isotopes used in #radiotherapy for cancer treatment.

12. Pulling out of #Euratom exposes hundreds of thousands of cancer patients in the UK - and their families - to risks that are unacceptable

13. I do not believe voters realised this when they voted for #Brexit. And I don't believe voters realise this today in #GE2017.
