Maybe I am repeating myself but... Imo 90% of our meritocratic/work ethic rhetoric is just propoganda to justify mantaining inequity. 👇 And fact Americans buy into this rhetoric so much speaks to the power the wealthy/giant corps have in shaping our discourse and ideologies.

Greetings one & all. I need to find empirical papers & meta-analyses that evaluate mean differences in experimental-economic game behavior (e.g., cooperation, punishment, trust) across many countries at once (not simple 2-country comparisons). Can you help? Plz retweet & TIA.

Young researchers often feel they failed or did something wrong when they find a non-significant result. But if you think it is just as likely that your hypothesis is true as that it is false, have 80% power and a 5% alpha, a true negative is actually the most likely outcome!

A phenomenal meta-analysis on personality and interdependence in economic games. -- most traits (broand and narrow) were related to prosocial behavior and conceptual links to the affordances provided in interdependent situations, especially exploitation.
