Yup. Tolls may have been kind of janky before. Now we can use transponders. Don't even need to be RFID because cars already have batteries.

Several European states, such as France, already have extensive private road networks. Since at least WWII I think.

Ownership itself can be recorded on blockchains that compete with each other for legitimacy. Private escrow companies can guarantee the safe transfer of ownership. Private law markets and all that.

Now figure out how to circumvent all the graft & cruft that will forever prevent any of this from being implemented.
