Well yes. If everyone allows that adults own their children, and the State owns the adults, naturally the State can behave as if it owns the children when it pleases it to do sohttps://twitter.com/literalbanana/status/996069471050547200 …
Joining a home school association is trivially easy for the not-incompetent. But why this objection to ownership? It's a grey area whenever biology enters the equation, since all things biological equal the denial of exit. Children can't really live without parents.

That's rather like saying people can't live without working, therefore slavery is unavoidable. Children could divorce parents and choose a new guardian, at least.

1, no they can't, except in extremely rare circumstances. circumstances which (2) are dictated by... haha oh wait the State

the first bit is utter nonsense so i'm ignoring it, just like i do when anticapitalists say it. ("muhhh i have to expend calories to breathe therefore i'm a slave")

Which one of us are you talking to. Clarify

I was answering
@AMK2934, but this is reminding me to stay out of online arguments. -
oh wow, fucking twitter's piece of shit UI strikes again. So, apparently I have
@amk2934 muted (which I don't remember doing) but even better, twitter then renders the thread exactly as if you were replying to my tweet. no indication of missing continuity -
so 1, i'll unmute AMK bc i don't remember having a reason for that mute, and 2, yeah that's what happened. fucking hate twitter eliding shit like that, unbelievable
-
for example, now i can see this as well, whereas before i had no indication of anything until
@abecedarius's tweet just now made it obvious. guess i'll have to pay extra close attention to the possibility of this kind of thing...https://twitter.com/AMK2934/status/996114825964072960 … - 5 more replies
