Okay but can anyone who supports the trans ideology give me a single legitimate reason that people are allowed to change their genders but not their race? I shall wait.

Because genders are fluid and arbitrary, but races are hard, biologically grounded categories - duh!

except there are quite a few indicators that gender dysphoria is an actual brain condition and not a hilarious cultural idiosyncrasy like wearing pants

We can say "it is allegedly a measurable brain condition" all day... But the fact of the matter is that is not currently the case. People have been allowed to transition without any physical evidence to support their claims. GD is based on psych assessment, not a medical test.

well, so is diagnosis and treatment of depression, schizophrenia and some forms of epilepsy. All those are notoriously brain conditions with rather remarkable success of biomedical interventions. Frankly, if GD was not a biomedical condition, HRT would be quite pointless

Any brain state can be altered by chemicals. Even ones that are patently normal. The nature, scope, and definition of psychiatric conditions has been incredibly varied over the years, and is based in no hard science whatsoever. 1/2

well, QALY improvements are being gained - and that is the only thing reasonable medical practice should care about, improving quality of life for patients. Like I said, if there were a buncha whiteys who felt they are black, and melanotan shots alleviated their suffering

Can I be trans African lesbian, Naomi? What if I want to go from being a white man to a black lesbian? Would you fugger a trans African, or are you a WACIST?

TBH I wanted to have sex with a post-op trans person for a long time - curiosity, you know. And, like I said, I would have no problem with race-associated phenotype modification being used to treat a medical condition.

          Replying to @0K_ultra @AMK2934 and

As a matter of fact, I would be quite happy if "race-associated phenotype change" became more effective, more universal (going from black to "whitey" remains challenging) and more widespread, simply bcoz I support bodily autonomy, but also cos "racial communities" are stupid shit
