This single tweet shoots to hell the whole "capital acceleration" bullshit. Kind of hard for capital to accelerate when it's all caused by patents, aka "socialized innovation." Wonder what Land thinks?

2/ In other words, the time lag means that economic rents work for the actors that get them, whether slowing economic growth or stimulating innovation. (slow growth is not the opposite of innovation)

The thesis needs its antithesis to survive, grow, change, buy, remain high IQ, reproduce, stimulate innovation, and even produce harmful laws that force it to reroute (since rerouting forces its development)
