@Outsideness once said that constitutions were a precursor to algroythmic governance.
A basic problem with alg gov is that a brain at level x cannot anticipate a consequence of network effects on a population, since that requires x^p brain power, or something approximating it.

But the ultimate meat trick would be to design a game of games, or game that allows the design of other games without losing stability, the "meta-republic," aka., "the thing that

@NickSzabo4 is giving us our long awaited divorce from fiat money, and the blockchain may one day solve the coordination problem of meta-government, but I ask, how can game-based political design be used to solve the problems of algorithmic government?Show this thread -
@jmrphy mentioned the coordination problem of communism, and again I am reminded of game-based systems. After all, GAMES are the third organizational form, after markets and hierarchies (or dictatorships).Show this thread -
Game-based systems are the most overlooked form of organization in the world, and the most understandable, since you can play a game in real life and begin to see its effects. What about game-based production systems to abolish management?
@jmrphy That's communism that works.Show this thread -
@cyborg_nomade believes that organization is suppression. Would a game-based political system be considered an organization? Are game-based organizational systems the answer to problems inherent in anarchism? Maybe@CTZN5 might have an idea.Show this thread -
Moreover, what about AI superintelligence as an effective designer of algorithmic governance? Wonder what Nick Bostrom would have to say about that.
