I'm telling you are indeed assuming it away.

Take a model of the mind. Any objective model, verifiable by third party observers. Remove the 'mind' elements. It's a physics model, without a mind. What did we remove, in fact? Nothing. It is still fully predictive.

Thus it is not a model of the mind; we have not accounted for subjectivity.

Subjectivity is thing which we're trying to account for. There is a blue cube. The cube emits photons, which hit my eye, which produce nerve firings, etc etc visual cortex...and on top of that, I have a thought of a blue cube, over and above the cortex.

Subjectivity is a referent without an object. It is a non-thing. It doesn't represent reality. The language is corrupt. Everything is both "subjective" and "objective." "Subjectivity" proper is a feeling invented by your brain thinking about itself.

The point is exactly subjects are non-things. Objects are things. Subjects are thoughts. You might be a p-zombie.

Incorrect. If you genuinely lack the subjective machinery, it should be impossible to convince you that subjectivity exists. If a p-zombie is convinced, they have made a mistake.

LMFAO The concept of p-zombie assumes that an illusion of a human being is possible. It it not also possible that "self" is an illusion too? You already believe in illusions that look fully convincing. Go one more step and realizing your subjective experience is an illusion.
