Nick Land openly states that in the war between Skynet/AI/Capitalism and the human race, he is against the "monkeys" In case you haven't noticed, YOU are one of "the monkeys" that Land is against Land is you enemy, and he even says so out loud

This will be resolved using cults. There will be a cult of “primitivists” and a cult of “machine accelerationists.” The latter will dissolve into silicon goo. The former will have some chance of surviving.

Scarcity is one of the things that give us dignity. Ten thousand electronic copies of Einstein devalue Einstein as a being. Though artificial scarcity could be ensured through some kind of blockchain-like tech.
-
Ridiculous. Upgrade everything.

>muh noble savage
-
You laugh but you only have capitalism thx to 1) scarcity 2) desire. Once you hack both on upgrading, bye bye capitalism and bye bye Landian capitalist AI borg future.
-
The only people who don't understand this are the ones who also want an easy mode for Dark Souls.
-
The entire point of scarcity is that it is relative and thereby permanent.
-
that's a fair point, but the *digital* scarcity when it exists won't look like any scarcity that currently exists, which means there is a complete "break" rather than an "upgrade" on transition.

It would take more than a few.

A seed population of a few hundred females plus a few males would be quite sufficient (makes a Dr. Strangelove face)
-
This sounds more like an incel fantasy but...
-
No, abandoning biological body for a silicon substrate is the ultimate incel fantasy.
-
I think we can agree that the future belongs to the incel. It will be a short future but...
-
The silicon thetans will all die, this is almost guaranteed.
