Proud to run for office when it’s clear that we must have more women in Congress, esp. in PA.
The 6.5 million women living here are represented by a 20 member, all male delegation—many of whom have worked against protecting and advancing the rights of women and girls. #PA05

Stepping out of my comfort zone. Making calls on behalf of for Congress. Great candidate for PA’s 5th District. All Dems need to contribute, volunteer and, most important, vote. This administration’s hateful agenda must be stopped.

As a former Assistant US Attorney under , seeing the degradation and misuse of government power by was a major reason I decided to run for Congress. It is truly heart-wrenching to see otherwise law abiding families being torn apart.

On this #EqualPayDay it's important to remember that the pay gap impacts all of us.
It is unacceptable for women to earn only 80 cents for each dollar a man earns.

Tonight, I was honored to nominate for the endorsement of the in #PA5. Ashley made it to the final round between the top 2 vote-getters, but neither got the 55% required, which means we’ll have an open primary. And a lot more work to do before May 15!

As we remember a great man's legacy, let us also honor the causes for which he gave his life. We cannot stop fighting for racial equality or to improve the lives of low-income Americans.

In 1968, Martin Luther King worked to plan the Poor People's March, intended to occur mere days after his eventual assassination.
The campaign focused on strengthening anti-poverty programs & diminishing income inequality. 50 years later, these issues remain critical.
