3/5 We arranged rescue yesterday and he is now confined at D’ Saints Veterinary Clinic. He is positive of ear mites, he has Immuno Deficiency Virus and Pancreatitis.

2/5 Our hearts melted when someone sent his photos to us. His snout is almost gone because of an infection. He’s been trying to eat but it is very difficult for him.

1/5 His mouth is almost completely damaged, he will surely die of starvation if AKF did not rescue him. This is Banggi, a stray cat in Sta Rosa, Laguna.

AKF strongly condemns butchering of dogs just so individuals can fill their empty stomach. Dogs are not food. It is a crime to slaughter them for their meat. Task Force Kasanag should get to the bottom of this. Now.

We call on the leadership of Task Force Kasanag to shed light on this crime as it runs counter to their advocacy against criminality and as environmental crusaders.

1/2 We posted a call for help for Lolo Conrad and his pet, Kathrina, who got into a vehicular accident. He borrowed money so he can save his beloved pet. AKF took over when they can no longer fund additional expenses. Despite all these efforts, Kathrina did not make it.

2/3 The Quezon City Veterinary Department, headed by Dra Marie Cabel and Doc Rollie Villamor, was very quick to respond. The injured dog was immediately brought to a vet clinic for surgery. A case is already being prepared against the offender. Justice will be served.
