It hard to know bc Mitch likes to posture. I’m guessing he doesn’t. Too many toss up races. Unless Republican incumbents are complete idiots, they will want to motivate their voters to show up and be on the campaign trail.

They may be secondary to McConnell, but they aren't secondary to the senators whose votes he does not have. I don't imagine votes will be changed for those senators, but I do think they believe it is a problem they do not need.
