First there are numerous protests #Parkland was here for an anti gun violence, The Dan Ryan was shut down. Tired of ALL this killing, schools, each other, the police, ALL of it #MakeAmericaKind he was no thug, stop assuming, a neighborhood barber, people knew him.

People know the neighborhood drug dealer too Police have a job to do 99.9% of the time they get it right people have no respect for the cops these days they get paid to do a job, not to get shot because someone doesn't follow directions.

The police said get back, he didn’t get back so they gave him some motivation. And the protesters were being violent.

He has every... LEGAL RIGHT to document what the police were doing! Those officers chose to BREAK the law, assault him and bar the press access... He was documenting the CPD beating a man on the ground. The only violence see on multiple videos was coming from the CPD..

Since when is saying “he/they started it” an acceptable reason for cops to murder and then randomly hit, put, shove, slam ppl to the ground, etc? Aren’t they supposed to have deescalation training? Why do we allow them in these roles if they aren’t able to do better than this.

Try putting yourself in the cops shoes. Your job is to protect the public and you come across someone you believe to have a gun. You also have a gun. If you don’t do what you’re paid to do and shoot first, you’re an idiot.

He never touched his gun. This poor man only passed some cigs to his Aunt and some dumb bored cop got in his face about it. He didn’t deserve to die. The best protection for a cop is deescalation. That man didn’t want to shoot at her, he wanted to be left in peace.

I would say don’t grab for a gun if you don’t want to be shot by police. I don’t believe police are trained to shoot knees or legs. Plus their hands are still free to shoot their gun if only their leg is shot-you’re not stopping the threat.
