Disband the @TSA. They are so unprofessional & do nothing to keep air travelers safe.

Do nothing? Has a terrorist attacked your country via aircraft? Don't sit here and say they do nothing when you get to your destination safe everytime you fly. Quite sad how uneducated you and a good chunk of Americans truly are.

No to belittle your loss however, WHY would you not hand carry your mother's ashes?

Because I’m 6’5 330 and people know who I am and talk to me every single time I go to the airport and I didn’t want to talk to dozens of strangers about my mother’s death last week... is that good enough for you?

No. I'm sorry for your loss but your responsibility for her ashes should go above packing them in your checked baggage.

I’d really like to know where you got this idea to scold someone over this? Do you not realize how awful you come across here? Many airlines do not allow urns as carry on and some require them to be shipped as cargo. Be a better person.

So to recap: person just lost his mother; does what countless others have done and checked it in luggage; someone at TSA improperly handles it; you decide to be obnoxious towards the person who just lost his mother who made a perfectly reasonable decision

Nobody in my neighborhood works at TSA, that I can assure you. Lol

They live in your town, their kids go to school with your kids. Shop at your grocery store. Use your post office.

You do know that Federal Officers make MORE than local police officers, right?

A TSA agent will start typically at $25 to $38k a year at D pay brand level...... I can't speak for other cities but Metro Nashville PD start off at $45k and a cadet then usually top off at $51k as an officer 1. more if you make rank. But I can see where you getting at
