Husband said he wanted steak. Wife said she would make it. Mother said “don’t worry about it, I’ll make it, you go rest.” Next day husband asks wife where steak was. Wife told him mom said she would make it. Mom acted like she never said that and made it seem like wife was lazy

The fact that he refused to believe his wife and immediately sided with his mum is raising big red flags for me. OP is definitely NTA but I think she should be looking for an out from that marriage.
