    BREAKING: The company owned by a foreign country that is challenging a grand jury subpoena in federal court in DC, and lost its challenge at the DC Circuit, has asked the US Supreme Court to step in. The case is under seal, so we have no additional information at this time.

    denies Trump administration's request to allow it to enforce ban on asylum for immigrants who enter country from Mexico illegally pending appeals. Chief Justice provided deciding vote, with Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, & Kavanaugh all indicating they would have granted stay.

    Trump administration is back at in challenges to ban on transgender service members, asking justices to allow govt to enforce ban while govt appeals rulings against it. On 11/23, govt. had asked justices to bypass appeals courts & review those rulings.
