Alberta is seeing a sustained record number of new #COVID19 cases confirmed in the province daily, and with each case: double to triple the number of close contacts that require notification and follow-up.

To support Albertans who will be asked to notify their own close contacts, a new webpage has been developed at http://ahs.ca/closecontacts .

If 500 COVID positive people still attended work and functions despite knowing they had symptoms, doubtful they will notify others after the fact. Why would they be responsible now?
-
We’re a trustworthy bunch. I’m sure this will be fine.

This is something we would already do. If anyone has symptoms we notify work and school it’s called being decent.

Have you met people? You might and that's great but I have little faith. I work in Customer Service, "personal responsibility" is a shaky strategy

Seriously? Some people won’t even wear a mask or physical distance and you want them to take responsibility for contacting others they might have infected when they get COVID? Do you think they really care who they infect? What a nightmare.
-
Yup and this is why we see Alberta's cases spiralling out of control. But "personal responsibility", am I right?

If only there was a operational app that worked at a national level.

I have both apps as used FED app while in ON. Fed app is poorly designed, almost useless. AB app is far superior. Download both if you want but AB version will actually help trace cases.
