I guess the "wall" chant could have happened outside the video, but his claim that the kid was blocking him is clearly made up. Hopefully everyone can move on with their lives, but I will say it is frustrating that I had to watch multiple youtube videos to get the truth because the account printed by one of the biggest newspapers in the country and spread by countless blue checks all day was not reliable.

The guy is a long time activist, and smart, and an adult manipulating kids. He probably felt like he was winning the lottery in that situation. I reject the "victim narrative."
WaPo is never going to issue a retraction or correction either.
"He blocked my way and wouldn't allow me to retreat." Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't retreat usually involve...turning around and walking away from the "threat?"
