USAID Environment Office Chief John Edgar said the Philippines loses nearly P68.5 billion annually to illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
USAID has been working with the PH to help combat IUUF and promised to help BFAR reverse declining fish stocks. |
BFAR, for its part, has MMK or Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan. This is BFAR's own incentive program for LGUs to protect their own waters.
