As someone who went to a Women's College, might I suggest we change the term "freshmen" to "first-years"

-
As a moderately conservative white guy; should have been done some time ago. Nothing manly about not being equal & fair.

Not surprising that a "bipartisan event" forgot to invite unions. Bipartisan and corporate are two words that often go together.
-
Unions don’t own the companies. Nothing stopping unions from organizing similar events. Congress members are not required to attend yet they did.
-
The congressmembers weren't informed ahead of time it'd be a corporate propaganda fest.
-
Except for the press release listing all the presenters of the event. How could they know?https://iop.harvard.edu/about/newsletter-press-release/newly-elected-members-congress-invited-harvard-kennedy-school%E2%80%99s …
-
Still struggling to see what the problem is. Someone please explain.
-
I don't either. This was a private event, hosted by corporate sponsors. MoC didn't have to attend. They knew beforehand (or should have) who the speakers/sponsors were. I'm a fan of Labor & would have liked the AFL-CIO to be a sponsor. Having it be a true bipartisan event.
-
She acts like she had no choice but to go and follow the “propaganda”

Unions suck. Just a medium to do the least possible work for the max dollar wage
-
And necessary to counter Capital, which is just a medium to get the most possible work out of people for the lowest dollar wage.

I'm old enough to remember when America feared QUALITY of Japanese products, learned it was an American
#WEdwardsDeming who taught the Japanese, and brought#Deming philosophy of#ManagementWorkerCooperation to companies like@Ford &@GM@NBCNews https://youtu.be/vcG_Pmt_Ny4@saikatc -
Excellent read. Thank you.
-
Please explain what you are saying is an excellent read. The history of Dr Deming's work in referencing? Something else? Thanks for clarifying
-

Thanks for clarifying.

#IfJapanCanWhyCantWe? was a landmark#PublicAffairs broadcast. Watched by industry leaders, it catalyzes the Quality Management movement in America, led to creation of@BaldrigeProgram@BaldrigeQuest#QualityIsJobOne at@Ford#PerformanceExcellence@ASQ
