Looking at posts in ASIF, it would seem that the Arctic is being subject to a particularly severe roasting meaning a record ice loss isn’t being ruled out.

Andrew we have had the discussion before. The NSIDC has utilises models and proxies not empirical evidence. They have been shown time and again to be incorrect and overheat the arctic and always show ice decreases annually. They are corrupt. Try a reputable source - DMI.pic.twitter.com/Ce2Esp1j21
