#OTD in 1991, the UN repealed the 1975 resolution that falsely declared “Zionism = racism.” Unfortunately, the legacy of this hateful resolution lingers today as anti-Israel voices continue to use the false analogy to delegitimize the Jewish people’s right to self-determination.

The NDAA also includes measures to investigate insider threats, such as domestic violent extremists attempting to recruit our troops for their nefarious causes. Vetting recruits can help keep our troops - and our communities - safer.

We welcome the vote to expel Iran from the UN’s Committee on the Status of Women, a decision that sends a message to the Iranian regime that its brutal treatment of women will not be tolerated. Other international orgs should take notice and take action.

As says, Albanese’s “Jewish lobby” comment is “not a political critique of an Israeli action, it is blanket characterizations that invoke age-old antisemitic tropes.” This feeds into a lack of confidence in the UN when it comes to anything related to Israel or Jews.
