Me in college: Complex systems of alarms that cycle between hour and 30 minute intervals so that I can actually remember to do work Also me in college: Ignores those alarms, ends up with 4k hours in a video game, and a 3.6 gpa because I rarely did homework and did well on test

Similar in high school. 10k word essays scheduled weeks in advanced and i'd rarely start them till 2 AM the night before they're due so even though my test scores were high I never went above a 3.0 GPA in high school because homework never got finished.

That’s what I thought until taking medication. How are we supposed to know how time can feel for someone else if we’ve been with our own brains all our lives? We can’t and they can’t. I hope this is a good inside view from an ADHD brain!
