LIMIT SUGAR SWEETENED BEVERAGES . Unprocessed red meat is healthy.

Small amounts of red meat are healthy; 100/150 gms two or three times a week. Two or three fish meals a week is good and nuts and legumes to make up the balance of protein. You will see few/no overweight people in their eighties, nineties and definitely 100 year olds.

Largest ‘growth’ area for bowel cancer? Young, fit women. Victim blaming further discourages people from testing. Clear explanation to consumers on the difference between a screening and a diagnostic test is required.

And we need good data to show the benefits of screening: BCCA does that! You can see the lives being saved every year in our report.http://Bowelcanceraudit.com

My colonoscopy picked up 9 polyps, 5 of which would have become cancerous. I just turned 40, 10 years before "recommended" screening age. My recommendation is to get screened at 35.

I like it. Only one thought, should it say 'dietician' instead of 'nutritionist'?
