@ACLUofNE why are there no programs for alcoholics like drug court? Only prison sentences, please do something about this.

Well I'm from Lincoln Nebraska, an I have yet to find DWI courts here. I currently have another DWI an instead of treatment it's prison.

Thank you! But as I said before Lincoln drug court is only for people with drug charges. Even though alcohol is a drug.

I was told that people with alcohol charges are not elgible for drug court. They rather send us to prison rather than help us with treatment

Again, sorry to hear this. Alcohol IS a drug, and people w/ addiction to it should be treated equally.
