From the start, our goals were to undo harm and protect future protests. This agreement achieves meaningful progress on both fronts. It includes: - A rework of ordinances to protect protester rights - Clear limits on chemical agents - A reporting requirement (2/4)
It also includes dismissal of charges related to violations of the ordinance we were challenging. This is meaningful progress, not the end of our work on accountability, but an important step toward protecting protesters' rights. (3/4)
