Women & Girls always suffer first and hardest in poverty & conflict. Nebraska is not immune from this.
Our Advocates (@OmahaWomensFund, @wcaomaha, @survivorsrise1, @RejuvWomen & others have made incredible legislative progress in certain areas, but so much more needs to be done.

We need greater commitment in NE to prevention (eg mental health, employment, human services) in order to reduce our excessive reliance on incarceration & the resulting fallout for our families, children & communities.
