We have a longer statement on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, but the bottom line is that while there are limits on free speech, government can’t weaponize laws to target specific messages or viewpoints.

Police should be focused on protecting peaceful free speech, not threatening mass arrests and new procedures to "bolster successful prosecution."
