This is common sense. The response to protests about police brutality should not be more police brutality. Arrests carry lasting - sometimes lifelong - consequences.

And the punishment did not fit the crime. Don't zip tie people for 5 hours for a misdemeanor. The cruelty was the point. Hold Jean Stothert and OPD accountable. Hold Brinker and Jerram and Rich Pahls accountable for helping this along.
