This is about disability rights and racial justice. We already know who is most likely to be harmed by current physical restraint in our classrooms: Black students and students with disabilities.

Teachers already have protections for when they absolutely must intervene in a situation to protect themselves and their students. LB 147 contradicts stronger, existing school policies and opens the door for more harm.
