Testing these three men was the right and responsible thing to do. People in our overcrowded prisons can’t social distance. Any possible exposure should be taken this seriously - as should reported symptoms.

Bottom line - overcrowding and understaffing had already put everyone in our prisons system at risk. COVID-19 continues to add to our concerns. Officials need to look at what's happening in other states, continue testing, and commit to meaningful action to reduce overcrowding.
