Everyone knows testing is a critical component of any community health plan addressing COVID-19. It’s even more vital in Nebraska’s overcrowded prison system where social distancing is impossible. The current approach is irresponsible, untenable and putting lives at risk.
Their excuse for not testing is insane. Every day they are receiving new inmates from county jails. Right now, the female section in Hall County is in "quarantine' due to inmates showing symptoms. It's not possible that the NDCS inmate population hasn't been exposed.
