Any collection of private data creates a possibility for misuse or unintended consequences – and officials should be collecting as little data as they can to allow strategic testing.

State leaders – including Sen. Hunt and Sen. Cavanaugh – are right to raise questions about the program and voice concerns about a lack of transparency on the $27 mil. contract. Testing must be easily accessible for all Nebraskans, not just those willing to fill out this survey.
