As COVID-19 spreads, public health officials are telling people to stay home if they feel sick. But in jails and prisons, that's not an option there are crowding issues, ventilation issues, I'm concern because If jails and prisons are complacent about the coronavirus.

I have a son doing time in a county jail in Nebraska and he has 4 months until he parols I'm wondering if he can get out on house arrest for his own safety. would I have to hire a lawyer I'm confused?
