Trade missions are important - but If we want to #KeepNebraskaStrong, economic development has to also include strategies to recruit and retain a diverse workforce. That means an equal pay agenda and workforce protections for the thousands of Nebraskans who are LGBTQ.

We're grateful the Governor touched on the dire need to address our understaffed Corrections facilities. We continue racing toward a legally mandated overcrowding emergency declaration on July 1. It's going to take real reform to solve this challenge and

Overcrowding impacts the safety of everyone in the system - people who are incarcerated and staff.
